Matt Jordan

Matt Jordan is a strategic HR leader with a proven track record of driving talent initiatives that build high performing, engaged workforces aligned with business objectives. With extensive experience in human resources leadership across the aerospace, defense and manufacturing sectors, Matt specializes in shaping organizational culture, enhancing employee engagement and implementing leadership development programs.

As Vice President of Human Resources at Safran Defense & Space, Inc. (Safran DSI), Matt is a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for developing and executing strategic HR policies, talent management strategies and organizational initiatives that foster a high-performance culture. He played a leadership role in the formation of Safran DSI, ensuring seamless business continuity and long-term operational success.

Previously, Matt served as Director of Human Resources at Optics 1, Inc., where he implemented strategic HR initiatives that significantly improved talent acquisition and employee engagement. His expertise spans compliance, risk mitigation, succession planning, and HR technology implementations, including leading the rollout of Learning Management Systems and structured compensation frameworks.

With over two decades of HR leadership experience, including roles at Stonyfield Farm and Public Consulting Group, Matt has a deep understanding of performance management, organizational development and talent acquisition. He is a results-driven executive dedicated to building strong, people-first organizations that drive business success.

Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management from Bridgewater State University and is an active member of the HR community.
