Safran DSI Testing & Telemetry Bolsters Western U.S. Customer Support to Deliver Faster, Responsive Solutions Nationwide

Safran Defense & Space, Inc. (Safran DSI) Testing and Telemetry is expanding technical team capabilities in Orange County, California for quick-turn response to our West Coast partners and programs while maintaining full support for customers across the United States.

“This decision to strengthen our regional presence enables more direct interaction with program teams and more efficient coordination across development, qualification, and production testing activities.” said Jeff Rusincovitch, President for the Testing and Telemetry business unit. “With our Costa Mesa California base, we can be within closer reach to work alongside our customers who support vertical lift, advanced flight test, missile systems, launch vehicles, and hypersonic and supersonic platforms.”

“Access to our customers is especially important in test and telemetry environments that support both flight test and operational aircraft, where schedules are compressed and execution is critical,” said Andrei Gugiu, Chief Revenue Officer for the Testing and Telemetry business unit. “By continuing to invest in U.S.-based manufacturing, including our Testing and Telemetry facility in Norcross, Georgia, Safran DSI provides advanced, American-made telemetry solutions that remain aligned with program needs from early development through operational deployment.”

Safran DSI’s Testing and Telemetry team supports some of the most complex aerospace and defense efforts currently underway by delivering end-to-end instrumentation and telemetry solutions for mobile and stationary systems, including data acquisition, hardware- and software-based recording units, ground receivers, and data processing software.

“Costa Mesa functions as a Testing and Telemetry center of excellence within Safran DSI and this integrated approach helps maintain technical alignment, and keep programs moving forward,” Gugiu added. “Our role is to serve as a practical, engaged partner throughout the program lifecycle, whether customers are conducting initial flight test activities or transitioning systems into production and operational use.”

Safran DSI will continue engaging directly with customers at leading industry events, including Transformative Vertical Flight conference, held this week (Jan 27-29), in San Jose, California. Attendees are encouraged to meet with the Testing and Telemetry team to discuss program requirements and how Safran DSI supports a broad range of aerospace and defense missions from Coast to Coast.
