Our Ka-Band High-Data-Rate Space Transmitter, KALLISTO, comes as the latest generation of  transmitter dedicated to mini/micro-satellites. It especially meets the expressed demand from satellite operator to implement high data rate transmission between satellite and ground segment, enabling much more data volume downlink.

It comes as the perfect solution expected by Satellite Operators to move from the over congested X-band to the Ka-Band that authorizes more flexibility and more throughput capacity.
Our Space Transmitter KALLISTO is a latest state-of-the-art qualified COTS based design. Such design is perfectly adapted to New Space programs, where cost effectiveness, performances and reliability are success key factors.

The Space Transmitter KALLISTO HDR modulator relies on a proven DVB-S2 based core engine with QPSK, 8PSK, 16APSK and 32APSK modulation schemes enabling useful data rates up to 2 Gbps. The product range consists of a HDR and a VHDR hardware models. Both differ from the input interface type and capability (LVDS for HDR and high data rate interface for VHDR).

One key feature is the capability to change and adapt the transmission parameters dynamically and in-flight. The Space Transmitter embeds a DC/DC converter with galvanic isolation as required for Mini/Micro satellite integration. It also authorizes data and control interface redundancy implementation to maximize the in-flight service availability.
