Safran DSI’ Cortex Lasercom is your solution for High Data Rate bidirectional space-to-ground laser communication.
Tailored for future generations, it can receive high speed non-coherent and coherent laser transmission up to 40 Gbps in OOK, DPSK, B/QPSK, DP-QPSK, from LEO to GEO missions, as well as transferring 2.5 Gbps in OOK for the uplink. Benefitting from the industry-standard Cortex heritage makes Cortex Lasercom the risk-free and easy option to deploy optical communication link with ground station (OGS).

With the Cortex Lasercom, Safran DSI gives the go-ahead to an ambitious optical communications roadmap, with solutions already in development to address Telecom Feeder Link 
applications in 100 Gbps. This powerful and scalable platform enables multiplying demodulation performances in the near future.
