Infrared Imaging

Safran DSI (Attollo Engineering) develops advanced infrared detectors and camera cores for defense, aerospace, industrial, and machine vision applications. Our sensors are optimized for low SWaP (Size, Weight, and Power) systems across SWIR, eSWIR, and MWIR bands.

 

Shortwave Infrared (SWIR)

Our SWIR detectors use InGaAs technology to deliver high-sensitivity imaging in the 0.9–1.7 µm range. Compact FPAs and camera cores enable machine vision, surveillance, and inspection applications in low SWaP environments.

 

Extended SWIR (eSWIR)

Our eSWIR detectors, based on Strained Layer Superlattice (SLS) technology, operate in the 0.9–2.4 µm band for extended wavelength imaging. The compact IDCA form factor is ideal for industrial inspection, machine vision, and SWaP-constrained systems.

 

Midwave Infrared (MWIR)

MWIR sensors use SLS focal plane arrays (FPAs) with multiple cutoff wavelength options. Available as FPAs or IDCAs, they offer high performance in a compact, low-SWaP design for defense, aerospace, and industrial applications.
